Career Summary

A driven individual in all tasks, In teaching I have dedicated myself to helping new artist pursue their goals by encouraging their creative talent as well as providing practical feedback and essential skills to prepare them for the industry. In additional to teaching I’ve worked as a production manager in a strict film pipeline as well as done freelance illustration for children’s books. I wish to further myself as an educator using the skills I’ve gained from my diverse work history to help prepare the next generation of artistic professionals.

Teacher of Fundamentals of Game Art at Laguna College of Art

·       This course teaches students the basics of the video game pipeline including:

·       Introduction to 3DS max, asset modeling, organic character modeling,

·       UV layout, texturing,

·       Basic rigging

·       Introduction to animation

·       Level construction in Unity game engine.

·       Final group project to create a unique playable level..

·       Ensuring the success of students that desire to follow their passion in the video game industry

·       Interactive Blog to assist in student learning and retention of material

Teaching Assistant 2009 - 2011

·       Tutoring students in each area of learning outside of class when needed.
